Beautiful Magnolia Blossoms

We planted a Southern Magnolia Tree when our son was born and for years we took his picture by it on his birthday.  Both the tree and our son grew by leaps and bounds.  After over 30 years, our Southern Magnolia Tree has grown to probably 100 feet tall.

The blossoms of the Southern Magnolia Tree are very beautiful and fragrant.  They are large and each stage is so lovely.  It is nice to cut the blossoms and bring them into your home to spread the wonderful aroma throughout your house.  Of course, they don't last a very long time which is a drawback.

The leaves can be used for decorating all year long.  Wash them and rub them with a little oil to get a pretty sheen.  They can be used in arrangements for centerpieces or in wreaths at Christmastime.

As you can see on the right of this page, I have been enjoying creating products from my Southern Magnolia Blossom pictures on Zazzle.
